    In Florida College football is king in so many ways because it is home to 18 college football teams and 10 division one teams. Such as the University of Florida Gators. And the Miami Hurricanes as well as the Florida State University Seminoles and the University of South Florida Bulls.

    Basketball

    The fact is Florida loves all sports and that includes basketball. With two National Basketball League teams calling Florida home for over 30 years. There is the Miami Heat who have played championship basketball several seasons.     With Florida having two National Hockey league teams. The Tampa Bay Lightning and The Florida Panthers. Florida’s fun hockey world with the Lightning winning the Stanley Cup three times including back to back in 2020 and 2021. In addition to the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup for the first time in 2024.
